where change is constant and uncertainty is the norm, the most important
leadership skill is self-leadership. In this keynote, Julie Jungalwala offers a

human adaptability, she shares a practical and inspiring framework for

Speaker:
Julie Jungalwala is a keynote speaker, author, founder
of Human Possibility, the Institute for the Future of Learning and co-founder
of the Academic Leadership Group.
With over
two decades of experience guiding professionals through change, Julie has
become a trusted voice on self-leadership, adaptability, and human development.
Her work is grounded in the belief that in a world of accelerating uncertainty,
the most essential skill is the ability to lead yourself first. Drawing from
research in adult development, the science of adaptability, and real-world
professional reinvention, she helps audiences reframe change from something to
survive into something they are uniquely built to navigate and shape.
Julie
graduated from the Harvard Graduate School of Education with a master’s degree
in education, specializing in adult development and behavioral change. She is
the recipient of the Donna Elder Inspired Leader Award and the Harvard Hero
Award for outstanding contributions to the university.
She is
currently authoring her second book, Lead Yourself First: How to Find
Clarity, Courage, and Direction in an Unpredictable World (expected 2026),
a field guide for navigating uncertainty and stepping into possibility. It
expands on the themes of her workshops and keynotes, offering readers a map for
reclaiming agency in times of upheaval.
